Aircraft Twirls Wildly into Palm Fronds at Frequented California Shoreline
A chopper flying over a popular southern California coastline suddenly commenced twirling wildly, eventually losing altitude and plunging into a line of palm trees as onlookers watched.
Footage posted online show the chopper commencing to spiral near the beach then falling near the edge of the shore, where it ends up lodged between palms and a staircase adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.

The Huntington Beach fire department said five persons were rushed to the hospital involving two individuals who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” following the incident on that day.
Three individuals on the road were injured. Specifics on their injuries were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
